Reference is made to the Company’s announcement made on 10 March 2020 pertaining to the Originating Summons (“Summons”) filed by Messrs Chai & Company, the solicitors for Dato’ Sri Kee Soon Ling (“Plaintiff”).

NWP wishes to announce that NWP had on  15 May 2020 filed an affidavits in reply denying the Plaintiff's rights to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) as he does not fulfill the requisite 10% shareholding to convene an EGM under the Companies Act 2016 and the Constitution of NWP.

The above matter has fixed for hearing at the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 5 August 2020.

Further announcement on the development of the above matter will be made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
