Further to the announcements dated 30 April 2018, 4 June 2018, 3 July 2018, 1 August 2018, 3 September 2018, 1 October 2018, 2 November 2018, 3 December 2018, 2 January 2019, 31 January 2019, 1 March 2019, 1 April 2019, 19 April 2019, 3 May 2019, 3 June 2019, 1 July 2019, 2 July 2019, 2 August 2019, 4 September 2019, 1 October 2019, 31 October 2019, 3 April 2020, 4 May 2020, 3 June 2020 and 3 July 2020, following the classification of Sumatec as Practice Note 17 (“PN 17”) Company pursuant to Paragraph 2.1 (d) of PN 17 of the Main LR, in relation to the monthly announcement of Sumatec's status to regularise the Company's financial condition, the Liquidator wishes to announce on behalf of the Company that there is no major development to-date.

In addition, in relation to the Company’s announcement dated 25 June 2020, the Liquidator wishes to announce that the Company did not receive the funding required to proceed with the Fraud Suit (as defined in the Company’s announcement dated 25 June 2020). Accordingly, the Liquidator has no choice but to discontinue the Fraud Suit.

This announcement serves as the monthly announcement required under Paragraph 4.1(c) of PN17 of the Main LR.
