We refer to the announcement dated 12 June 2020. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcement in relation to the Sukuk Murabahah Programme.
On behalf of the Company, HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad are pleased to announce that the Company has today made its debut Sukuk Murabahah issuance of RM600.0 million in nominal value under the Sukuk Murabahah Programme.
The Sukuk Murabahah issued has a tenure of three (3), seven (7) and ten (10) years and will mature on 14 August 2023, 13 August 2027 and 14 August 2030 respectively.
Proceeds from the Sukuk Murabahah issued shall be utilised by the Company and its subsidiary companies for general working capital, capital expenditure and/or other general corporate purposes, which shall be Shariah compliant.
The Sukuk Murabahah Programme has a perpetual programme tenure and has been assigned a final rating of AA-IS by Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad.
HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad are the Joint Principal Advisers, Joint Lead Arrangers and Joint Lead Managers for the Sukuk Murabahah Programme.
