The terms used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Company's announcement dated 26th August 2020 in relation to the Proposed SCR, unless otherwise stated. We refer to the Company's announcement dated 26th August 2020 and 28th August 2020 in relation to the Proposed SCR. The Board of Directors of Kwantas wishes to announce that, in accordance with Paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions, the Board (save for the Interested Directors, namely Dato' Chong Kan Hiung, Kwan Jin Nget, Kwan Min Nyet and Kwan Ngen Wah) had appointed Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd to act as the Independent Adviser to provide comments, opinions, information and recommendation to the Board (save fot the Interested Directors) and the disinterested shareholders in respect of the Proposed SCR. This announcement is dated 2nd September 2020. |
