The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcement in relation to the HOA. We refer to the announcement made on 7 August 2020 in relation to the HOA. On behalf of the Board of Directors of SHC, UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd wishes to announce that the Company and TSC had on, 4 September 2020, mutually agreed to extend the exclusivity period in the HOA for a further 1 month ending 6 October 2020 ("Extension"). The Extension was made in order to grant the parties an additional time to negotiate on the terms and conditions of the definitive agreement(s) for the Proposed Acquisition to be entered into.
