We refer to the Company’s announcement made on 4 September 2020 in respect of the Writ of Summon and Statement of Claim filed by its wholly owned subsidiary, Khee San Food Industries Sdn Bhd (“Plaintiff”) against Hiperalimentar Lda (“Defendant”).

The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Parties had on 18 September 2020 attended Case-Management via E-Review for Enclosure 1 (Writ of Summon) before the Deputy Registrar, Pn. Siti Faraziana Binti Zainuddin.

The Court had on 18 September 2020 given the following directions:-

1. The Plaintiff to file the Notice of Writ of Summons to be served out of Jurisdiction on or before 25.9.2020; and
2. The Plaintiff to file Affidavit In Support for the service of Writ of Summons out of Jurisdiction Application on or before 25.9.2020.

The next Case-Management via E-Review has been fixed on 25.9.2020 before the Deputy Registrar, Pn. Siti Faraziana Binti Zainuddin.

The Company will make the necessary announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are further developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of any further directions by the Court.
