We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 19 February 2018, 23 February 2018, 18 January 2019, 3 April 2019, 6 May 2019, 14 October 2019, 15 November 2019, 8 January 2020 and 13 February 2020 on the subject matter.

The Company wishes to update that its counsel appeared before the Court of Appeal today for the hearing of Mr Chan Ah Kien’s (“the Appellant”) appeal against the High Court’s decision of 14 October 2019.

Upon hearing counsel, the Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal with costs of RM10,000 each to be paid by the Appellant to the Company and Brite-Tech Corporation Sdn. Bhd.

The Appellant has thirty (30) days from 1 October 2020 to file an application for leave to appeal (against the Court of Appeal’s decision) to the Federal Court.

The Company will make the necessary announcements on further developments in the above matter as and when necessary.
