SCGM Bhd ("SCGM" or "the Company") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary Lee Soon Seng Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd has obtained the registration number assigned by the USA Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its Benxon brand face masks, for usage by the general public per Immediately In Effect (IIE) guidance. With this importer code, the Company will apply with the Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Hal Ehwal Pengguna (KPDNHEP) to potentially export our face masks to USA. 

At present, SCGM supply the face masks in domestic market.  SCGM  has obtained approval from KPDNHEP to export 50% of our face masks capacity to Singapore. The Company expanded its face masks production capacity from 1.2 million units per month in May 2020 to 6.0 million units per month from October 2020 onwards.

SCGM also produces face shields for both domestic and export markets.

SCGM believes that the demand for face masks will continue to be stable as public is advised to adhere to more stringent hygiene standards.
