We refer to the announcement made by UEMS dated 5 October 2020 pertaining to the receipt of letter dated 2 October 2020 from UEM Group Berhad proposing a merger between UEMS and Eco World Development Group Berhad ("ECOWLD") into an enlarged group via an exchange of shares and warrants, with the subsequent delisting of ECOWLD from Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Proposal”).
The Board of UEMS will deliberate on the Proposal and decide on the next course of action. Accordingly, a further announcement will be made in due course.
We will make further announcements on the Proposal after evaluating further announcements to be made by UEMS.
