The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Bonus Issue of Shares. We refer to our earlier announcements dated 19 August 2020, 27 August 2020, 4 September 2020, 15 September 2020 and 2 October 2020 in relation to the Bonus Issue of Shares. On behalf of the Board, UOB Kay Hian wishes to announce that based on the Entitlement Date of 19 October 2020 in relation to the Bonus Issue of Shares, 189,712,720 Bonus Shares have been issued pursuant to the Bonus Issue of Shares. The abovementioned Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Tuesday, 20 October 2020, being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date.
