Reference is made to the Company’s announcement made on 14 October 2020 in relation to the receipt of the Notice.

Pursuant to Paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Board of Directors of AIM (“Board”) wishes to announce that M&A Securities Sdn Bhd (“M&A Securities”) has been appointed to provide independent advice to the Board and shareholders of AIM on the fairness and reasonableness of the Offer. The Board of AIM will in due course, following consultation with M&A Securities, issue its comments and opinion on the Offer.
