The Board of Directors ("Board") of Subur Tiasa Holding Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Board has on 6 November 2020:

(i) proposed to seek shareholders' approval to renew the authority for the Company to purchase its own shares by way of an ordinary resolution at the 25th Annual General Meeting (“25th AGM”) to be convened at a later date.

In accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the existing authority for purchase of own shares obtained at the 24th Annual General Meeting held on 20 December 2019 shall lapse at the conclusion of the 25th AGM, unless renewal is obtained.

(ii) proposed to seek shareholder mandate for the existing RRPT by way of an ordinary resolution at the 25th AGM to be convened at a later date.

The existing shareholder mandate was obtained at the 24th Annual General Meeting of the Company held on 20 December 2019. In accordance with the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the existing shareholder mandate shall lapse at the conclusion of the 25th AGM, unless renewal is obtained.

A Circular to Shareholders and Statement to Shareholders in relation to the Proposed Shareholder Mandate and Proposed Authority for Purchase of Own Shares of the Company respectively are currently being prepared and will be despatched to the shareholders at a later date.
