1. INTRODUCTION

Country View Berhad ("CVB" or the "Company") wishes to announce that COUNTRY VIEW EQUITIES SDN. BHD. [Registration No. 199701029291 (444790-T)] ("CVE"), a wholly owned subsidiary had on 17 November 2020 commenced Member's Voluntary Winding-Up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016 ("Winding-Up")


2.  DETAILS OF COUNTRY VIEW EQUITIES SDN. BHD. UNDER WINDING UP

a) Date of Incorpration : 26 August 1997

b) Principal Activity Prior to Winding Up  : Property Development but ceased operation since 2007

c) Issued Share Capital : RM2.5 million


3.  RATIONALE

CVE has been inactive since year 2007 and has no intention to carry on its business or operations in the future. The Winding Up will reduce administrative expenses and costs.


4. EFFECTS OF THE WINDING UP

The Winding Up of CVE will not have any material financial or operational effect on the CVB Group for the current financial year ending 30 November 2020.
