Unless otherwise defined, the abbreviations and definitions used in the announcements in relation to the Proposals dated 18 September 2020, 19 October 2020, 9 November 2020, 17 November 2020, 1 December 2020 and 17 December 2020 ("Announcements"), and the Circular to the shareholders of the Company dated 18 November 2020 ("Circular") in relation to the Proposals shall apply herein.
We refer to the Announcements and the Circular in relation to the Proposals.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that based on the 516,864,772 Scientex Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) on the Entitlement Date and after disregarding fractional entitlements, the number of Bonus Shares to be issued is 1,033,729,544 pursuant to the Bonus Issue of Shares. The Bonus Shares will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m. on 15 January 2021.
Following the above, the enlarged number of Scientex Shares in issue will be 1,550,594,416 Scientex Shares.
