The Company refers to its announcement dated 17 June 2020, 30 June 2020, 28 August 2020 and 30 November 2020 (“Announcement”), and unless otherwise stated, the defined terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the said Announcement.

The Company wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) vide its letter dated 19 January 2021 which was received on even date via Bursa Link, has granted E.A. Technique an extension of time from 10 December 2020 until 9 June 2021 to comply with the public shareholding spread requirement pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the LR.

Based on the Company’s Record of Depositors as at 31 December 2020, the public shareholding spread was 19.65% in the hands of 1,992 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each.

As at to date, the Company has not formulated any rectification plan to address the shortfall in the required public shareholding spread, but it will make further announcement(s) in relation to the status of its efforts to comply with the public shareholding spread requirements pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the LR.
