The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcement in relation to the Offer.

We refer to the announcement dated 22 January 2021 in relation to the Offer.

The Board of Directors of PUB wishes to confirm that it does not intend to seek an alternative person to make a take-over offer for the Offer Shares.

In accordance with Paragraph 3.06 of the Rules on Take-overs, Mergers and Compulsory Acquisitions issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia, the Board wishes to announce that Malacca Securities Sdn Bhd has been appointed to act as an Independent Adviser to provide their comments, opinion, information and recommendation to the holders of the Offer Shares in respect of the Offer. The appointment is subject to the clearance of eligibility of the Independent Adviser by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
