The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of CME wishes to announce that the Federal Court has on today, 27.01.2021, upon hearing submissions from the parties, reserved their decision in respect of Federal Court Civil Appeal No. 02(f)-136-11/2017(W) (“CME’s FC Appeal”). No decision date has been fixed yet by the Federal Court. The Fortuna Injunction granted to CME by the High Court on 17.07.2019 on the condition that the sum of RM10,969,323.70 be kept in the joint solicitors account will subsist until the Federal Court’s disposal of CME’s FC Appeal. The Company will announce further material developments of the outcome of the case in due course. This announcement is dated 27 January 2021. |
