In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:- The relevant regulatory approvals required to be obtained before Mestron Holdings Berhad (“Mestron) can commence the redistribution, marketing and selling of the Vaccines in Malaysia, and the estimated date or time-frame for Mestron to submit the applications to these regulators for approvals. (The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the Company’s announcement made on 29 January 2021 in relation to the Head of Agreement between Mestron and Zhongyu Yexing (Chengdu) Industrial Co., Ltd.) The Board of Directors of Mestron wishes to inform that the redistribution, marketing and selling of the Vaccines by Mestron in Malaysia is subjected to the approval of NPRA. Upon obtaining the necessary technical data on the Vaccines, Mestron expects to make an application to NPRA by 1st half of 2021 to procure for such approval. This announcement is dated 3 February 2021.
