TASCO - Notice of Book Closure

SUBDIVISION OF EVERY ONE (1) EXISTING ORDINARY SHARE IN TASCO BERHAD ("TASCO" OR THE "COMPANY") ("SHARE") HELD AT 5.00 P.M. ON 11 MARCH 2021 ("BOOKS CLOSURE DATE") INTO 4 SUBDIVIDED ORDINARY SHARES ("SUBDIVIDED SHARE(S)") ("SHARE SPLIT").
 

Kindly be advised of the following : 

1)  The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Offer” as from: 10 Mar 2021
2)  The last date of lodgment : 11 Mar 2021

Remarks 1:  "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 11 Mar 2021 with share split of TASCO shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive TASCO shares arising from the share split exercise, may sell any or all of his TASCO shares beginning the Ex-Date (10 Mar 2021).  
 
For example, if Mr X purchases 100 TASCO shares on cum basis on 9 Mar 2021, Mr X should receive 100 shares on 11 Mar 2021. As a result of the share split, 100 TASCO shares will be split into 400 shares in Mr X's CDS account on the night of 11 Mar 2021 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 400 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 10 Mar 2021 onwards."

Remarks 2: The Company's existing total number of shares comprising 200,000,000 Shares will be subdivided into 800,000,000 Subdivided Shares in relation to the Share Split. Fractional entitlements for the Subdivided Shares arising from the Share Split, if any, will be disregarded and dealt with in such manner as the Board in its absolute discretion deem fit, expedient and in the best interest of the Company. The Subdivided Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 12 March 2021, being the next market day following the Books Closure Date. The notices of allotment for the Share Split will be despatched to the entitled shareholders not later than 4 market days after the date of listing and quotation of the Subdivided Shares on Bursa Securities.
