MMIS - Notice of Bonus Entitlement

BONUS ISSUE OF 100,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN MMIS BERHAD ("MMIS SHARES") ("BONUS SHARES") ON THE BASIS OF 1 BONUS SHARE FOR EVERY 5 EXISTING MMIS SHARES
 

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[Ex-Bonus Issue]” as from: 15 Mar 2021
2)    The last date of lodgment : 16 Mar 2021
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
        a)    Selling Broker to deduct <1/6>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
        b)    Buying Broker to deduct <16.66%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
        c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/6>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks 1: 

"Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 16 March 2021 with bonus issue of MMIS shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive  MMIS bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his  MMIS shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (15 March 2021).
 
For example, if Mr X purchases 500 MMIS shares on cum basis on 14 March 2021, Mr X should receive 500 shares on 16 March 2021. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 100 MMIS shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 16 March 2021 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 600 shares on or after the Ex-Date ie from 15 March 2021 onwards."

Remarks 2 :
The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 17 March 2021, being the next market day after the Entitlement Date. 

MMIS' Share Registrar will issue and despatch the notices of allotment for the Bonus Shares to the entitled shareholders of MMIS at the address as per the Record of Depositors within 4 market days after the date of listing of and quotation for the Bonus Shares.
