PARKWD - Notice of Rights Entitlement (Ratio)

RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF UP TO 137,585,442 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN PARKWOOD HOLDINGS BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS AMALGAMATED INDUSTRIAL STEEL BERHAD) ("PARKWOOD" OR THE "COMPANY") ("PARKWOOD SHARES" OR "SHARES") ("RIGHTS SHARES") AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.18 PER RIGHTS SHARE ON THE BASIS OF 1 RIGHTS SHARE FOR EVERY 1 EXISTING ORDINARY SHARE IN PARKWOOD HELD BY ENTITLED SHAREHOLDERS OF PARKWOOD AT 5.00 P.M. ON 29 MARCH 2021
 

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “Ex- Right Issue” as from: 26 Mar 2021
2)    The last date of lodgment : 29 Mar 2021
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
       a)    Selling Broker to deduct <1/2>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
       b)    Buying Broker to deduct <10%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
       c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of  <1/2>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks :
The Abridged Prospectus together with the notice of provisional allotment and rights subscription form pursuant to the Rights Issue (collectively, the "Documents") will only be despatched to the shareholders of Parkwood whose names appear in Parkwoods Record of Depositors as at 5.00 p.m. on 29 March 2021 ("Entitled Shareholders") and who have a registered address in Malaysia or who have provided the Share Registrar, Boardroom Share Registrars Sdn Bhd, with a registered address in Malaysia in writing by 5.00 p.m. on 13 April 2021.

The Documents are not intended to (and will not be made to) comply with the laws of any country or jurisdiction other than Malaysia, and are not intended to be (and will not be) issued, circulated or distributed in countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia and no action has been or will be taken to ensure that the Rights Issue complies with the laws of any country or jurisdiction other than the laws of Malaysia.

Entitled Shareholders who are without an address for the service of documents in Malaysia and wish to provide a Malaysian address, should inform their respective stockbrokers and the Share Registrar, Boardroom Share Registrars Sdn Bhd, to effect the change of address by 5.00 p.m. on 13 April 2021.
