The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that the Company had, on 23 March 2021 received a notice in writing pursuant to Section 281 of the Companies Act, 2016 from Messrs Jamal, Amin & Partners (JAP) on their resignation as Auditors of the Company.

JAP was re-appointed Auditors of the Company at the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on 23 December 2020 and to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM.

The resignation was on a voluntary basis due to sanction by Audit Oversight Board on JAP which prohibited them from auditing any public interest entity pursuant to Section 31Z(2) of the Securities Commission Malaysia Act 1993 for 12 months effective 17 March 2021.

Save for the above, the Board is not aware of any matter that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.

The Company will appoint another audit firm as the new auditors of the Company.

Further announcement will be made by the Company in due course.
