Yoong Onn has implemented a temporary stoppage for seven (7) days for its warehouse storage facility in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan from 23 March 2021 to 29 March 2021 with the guidance from the Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia because of the positive cases of COVID-19 infection among its warehouse storage facility workers.

The Company wishes to inform that the temporary stoppage of its warehouse storage facility will result in loss of revenue estimated at less than 1% of the Company’s revenue.

The impact of the temporary stoppage to the Company’s revenue and earnings in the financial year ending 30 June 2021 will not be significant.

The Company has completed its screening test for all its warehouse storage facility workers and employees, sanitisation and disinfecting of the work premises, warehouse and staff hostel. The affected employees are under quarantine with adequate healthcare provided. 

We will continue to adhere strictly to all possible and necessary COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures at our work premises, warehouse and staff hostels with enhanced measures which include regular sanitisation, proper hygiene, restricting visits by 3rd parties and outsiders, the movement of all employees to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
