Reference is made to the announcements made on 22 November 2016, 22 June 2017, 26 December 2017, 21 March 2018, 6 July 2018, 5 October 2018 and 7 January 2019.  Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the earlier announcements shall apply herein.

The Board of Directors of PTRANS wishes to announce that The Combined Bus has on 2 April 2021  entered into a Facilitation Fund Agreement (“FFA”) with the Government of Malaysia represented by the Public Private Partnership Unit, Prime Minister’s Department and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad in relation to a grant provided to The Combined Bus for the development of Terminal Kampar, now known as Kampar Putra Sentral located in Kampar, Perak (“Project”).

Pursuant to the FFA, the Government agreed to provide financial assistance to The Combined Bus for an amount up to RM8,014,000.00 or an amount equivalent to 6.24% of the actual construction costs of the Project, whichever is lower, to facilitate the development of the Project.

None of the directors, major shareholders of PTRANS and/or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the FFA.

The Board of Directors of PTRANS, having considered all aspects of the FFA, is of the opinion that the FFA is in the best interest of PTRANS and is not detrimental to the interests of the shareholders of PTRANS.

A copy of the FFA is available for inspection during the office hours from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. from Monday to Friday (except for public holidays) at the registered office of PTRANS at D-3-7 Greentown Square, Jalan Dato’ Seri Ahmad Said, 30450 Ipoh, Perak Darul Ridzuan for a period of 3 months from the date of this announcement.
