We refer to the Company’s announcements in relation to the Proposals dated 11 December 2019, 13 December 2019, 1 December 2020, 10 December 2020, 29 January 2021, 2 February 2021, 4 February 2021, 5 February 2021, 11 February 2021, 26 February 2021, 5 March 2021, 29 March 2021 and 31 March 2021.
On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the bookbuilding exercise in relation to the Placement has been completed on 13 April 2021 by BIMB Sec and Maybank IB, being the Joint Placement Agents for the Placement where the Company will be issuing 222,222,000 new BHB Shares, representing approximately 12.0% of the issued share capital of BHB as at 12 April 2021, to the placees. The Placement was oversubscribed with demand from both existing shareholders and new investors.
The Board has fixed the Issue Price at RM3.58 per Placement Share, which represents a discount of approximately 9.4% to the VWAP of BHB Shares for the five (5) market days up to and including 12 April 2021 of RM3.9521. The gross proceeds that will be raised from the Placement is approximately RM795.6 million.
