MATERIAL LITIGATION - BRIGHT PACKAGING INDUSTRY BERHAD TO INTERVENE AS INTERVENER ON CIVIL SUIT NO. WA-22NCC-171-05/2020 ("Suit 171")

We refer to your Company’s announcement dated 12 April 2021, in respect of the aforesaid matter.

In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:-

1) The date of the Discovery Application (“Enclosure 161”) filed against the Company.

2) Further clarification on the matters sought for by the Defendant 1 and 3 of Suit 171 pertaining to the two Expert Reports.

3) The details of each of the two Expert Reports including but not limited to, the name of the independent experts conducting the valuation and forensic audit, the date of the reports, the scope of the valuation and forensic audit including the subject assets under valuation, and the summary salient findings of the reports.

4) Whether the Board has formed any opinion and recommendation on the findings of the two Expert Reports. If yes, the details thereof. If otherwise, the expected date for the Board to do the same.
