Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 15 April 2021 in relation to the Civil Suit commenced by AZSB against EPB ("Announcement"). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcement shall apply herein.
The Civil Suit concerns EPB’s Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit's Putrajaya Line (MRT2) project for a Protection & Relocation of Utilities (Relocation of Telecommunications Works) sub-contract work in year 2016.
The Company strongly denies allegations of improper work planning, resources allocation and other misleading claims against EPB. EPB having consulted its solicitors, Messrs Zul Rafique & Partners, is of the view that this suit is totally without merit and will robustly defend the said claim.
