The Board of Directors of Central Global Berhad (“CGB” or “Company”) wishes to announce that the Company’s wholly owned sub-subsidiary, Proventus Bina Sdn. Bhd. (“PBSB”) had on 16 April 2021 accepted a letter of award from a third party, RYRT International Sdn. Bhd. for the project known as Projek Menaiktaraf Sistem Bekalan Air Di Lahad Datu Fasa 1. The scope of sub-contract works awarded to PBSB encompasses the supply of labour, materials, machinery and equipment relating to the upgrading of water supply infrastructure connecting Kg Belacon to the water treatment plant located at Jalan Dam, and further connecting to the main water reservoir at Lahad Datu, Sabah ("Contract").
The contract sum for the Contract is Ringgit Malaysia One Hundred Million Five Hundred Forty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Four only (RM100,542,544).
