OIB - Notice of Rights Entitlement (Ratio)

RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF UP TO 154,858,394 NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN ORIENTAL INTEREST BERHAD ("OIB") ("OIB SHARE(S)" OR "SHARE(S)") ("RIGHTS SHARE(S)") ON THE BASIS OF 1 RIGHTS SHARE FOR EVERY 1 EXISTING OIB SHARE HELD AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON TUESDAY, 4 MAY 2021, TOGETHER WITH UP TO 154,858,394 FREE DETACHABLE WARRANTS ("WARRANT(S)") ON THE BASIS OF 1 WARRANT FOR EVERY 1 RIGHTS SHARE SUBSCRIBED, AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.68 PER RIGHTS SHARE ("RIGHTS ISSUE WITH WARRANTS")
 

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “Ex-Rights Issue” as from: 3 May 2021
2)    The last date of lodgment : 4 May 2021
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
       a)    Selling Broker to deduct<1/2>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
       b)    Buying Broker to deduct <10%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
       c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/2>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks:-  The Abridged Prospectus together with the Notice of Provisional Allotment and Rights Subscription Form in relation to the Rights Issue with Warrants (collectively, the "Documents") will only be despatched to the shareholders of OIB whose names appear in OIB's Record of Depositors as at 5.00 p.m. on 4 May 2021 ("Entitlement Date") at their address in Malaysia or who have provided the Share Registrar with an address in Malaysia in writing by 5.00 p.m. on the Entitlement Date.

 The Documents are not intended to be (and will not be) issued, circulated or distributed in countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia. No action has been or will be taken to ensure that the Rights Issue with Warrants and the Documents comply with the laws of any countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysian laws.

Acceptance of and payment for the Provisional Allotments and Excess Applications must be made by way of Rights Subscription Form enclosed together with the Abridged Prospectus, via electronic application, or via any method in the manner as set out in the Abridged Prospectus.
