Reference is made to Aneka’s announcement dated 26 April 2021 in relation to acceptance of Letter of Acceptance for Subcontract Works by Aneka Jaringan Sdn Bhd (“AJSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company from IJM Construction Sdn Bhd (“IJM Construction”), to be a subcontractor to undertake the works in connection with THE CONSTRUCTION AND COMPLETION OF WEST COAST EXPRESSWAY FOR PACKAGE WORKS FOR SECTION 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9 (“Project”), SC/WCES3/2021/062: CONSTRUCTION & COMPLETION OF BRIDGE S3-1 & S3-2 (SAE INTERCHANGE TO NKVE/FHR2 INTERCHANGE), for a subcontract price of RM77,800,000.00 (“Subcontract”).

The Company wishes to announce the following additional information as required by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad:-

Commencement date of the Subcontract 

The commencement date of the Subcontract is 15 April 2021.

For the avoidance of doubt, the commencement date was agreed between AJSB and IJM Construction during the final negotiation for this Project. This commencement date has been adopted pending issuance of the Letter of Acceptance for Subcontract Works to ensure that the delivery of works for the Project will not be delayed.
