Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 26 April 2021.

The Board of Directors of JCB wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has vide its letter dated 27 April 2021 informed the Company that Bursa Securities has resolved to reject the Company’s application for an extension of time to issue the Annual Report 2020 by 30 April 2021, being the last day of the automatic 1-month extension period for the annual reports granted by Bursa Securities (“Timeframe”) to 15 June 2021.

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Company will endeavour to issue and submit its Annual Report 2020 at the soonest.

Pursuant to Paragraph 9.28(5) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, if JCB fails to issue the Annual Report within five (5) market days after the expiry of the Timeframe i.e., by 7 May 2021 (“Suspension Deadline”), in addition to any enforcement action that Bursa Securities may take, Bursa Securities shall suspend trading in the securities of JCB. The suspension shall be effected on the next market day after the Suspension Deadline i.e., on 10 May 2021, and will only be uplifted on the market day following the issuance of the outstanding Annual Report, unless otherwise determined by Bursa Securities.
