We refer to the news article entitled “Market acceptance for blockchain ‘challenging’ Systech looking to cyber security for growth” which was featured in The Star on 10 May 2021 in particular referring to the following paragraph:

“The Company, which fell into the red in the second quarter of its financial year ended March 31, 2021 (FY21)”

Systech wishes to clarify that the Group recorded a loss after taxation of RM0.514 million in the individual second quarter ended 30 September 2020 of its FY21. For the cumulative period ended 30 September 2020, the Group recorded a profit after taxation of RM0.124 million.

The individual and cumulative period results for the second and third quarter of the Group for the FY21 which have been announced on 25 November 2020 and 5 February 2021 respectively are as per extract below:
