The Board of Directors of OpenSys (M) Berhad ("OpenSys" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that the Company reported a 10.9% rise in net profit to RM1.8 million in the first quarter ended 31 March 2021 (1Q21) from RM1.7 million a year ago, despite the 19.0% dip in revenue to RM14.0 million from RM17.2 million previously. 

The firmer bottom line was due to the favourable product mix, where the revenue from the higher-margin maintenance of cash-recycling ATMs, software solutions and business process outsourcing (BPO) in bill payment kiosks and cheque processing segment climbed 17.0% to RM12.8 million, compared to RM10.9 million previously.
