The Board of PICORP wishes to announce that there is a grave error in the newspaper article published by The Star on Tuesday, 25 May 2021 entitled “Quick take: Progressive Impact surges 42%, hit highest in over three years” (“the Erroneous Article”).
 
The Company had proposed a Single Tier Final Dividend of 0.30 sen (or RM0.003) per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 to be paid on 15 July 2021 to the shareholders whose names appear in the Record of Depositors on 1 July 2021, subject to the shareholders’ approval at the 29th Annual General Meeting to be held on 24 June 2021, AND NOT 30 SEN PER SHARE as reported in the Erroneous Article.
 

References to the proposed Single Tier Final Dividend of 0.30 sen (or RM0.003) per share for the financial year ended 31 December 2020 can be found in the following announcements made by the Company to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad:-

• General announcement (Proposed Single Tier Final Dividend of 0.30 sen) on 8 April 2021;
• Entitlement (Final Dividend) made on 26 April 2021;
• General Meetings (Notice of Meeting) made on 26 April 2021; and
• 2020 Annual Report issued on 27 April 2021.

The Company has reached out to The Star newspaper regarding the Erroneous Article and The Star has made the rectification.
