The Board of Directors (“Board”) of NPS wishes to announce that following the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office subsequent to the special meeting of the National Security Council where the decision was made to implement a full lockdown in phases with the initial phase of a total lockdown starting from 1 June 2021 to 14 June 2021 nationwide to curb the sharp increase in COVID-19 infections in Malaysia, the 43rd Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the Company which was originally scheduled to be held on Friday, 25 June 2021 at 3.00 p.m. has been postponed to a later date to be advised in due course.

The Board will continue to monitor the evolving situation of COVID-19 in Malaysia before fixing the new AGM date as the safety of our shareholders, advisers and staff who will attend the forthcoming 43rd AGM is of paramount importance to the Company. The Board will send out a new notice of the AGM and make further announcement in due course.

The Board extends its sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by this postponement.
