Reference is made to the Company’s announcement dated 21 May 2021 in respect of the Notice of 18th AGM scheduled to be held at Auditorium, Efficient Building, No. 3 Jalan Astaka U8/82, Taman Perindustrian Bukit Jelutong, Seksyen U8 Bukit Jelutong, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan on Thursday, 24 June 2021 at 10.00 a.m.

On 28 May 2021, the Prime Minister’s Office announced the implementation of the Phase 1 Full Movement Control Order (“FMCO”) nationwide for a period of 14 days from 01 to 14 June 2021 to curb the sharp increase in COVID-19 infection in Malaysia. On 11 June 2021, it was announced that the FMCO is extended for another 2 weeks from 15 June to 28 June 2021.

In light of uncertainty over the current COVID-19 pandemic as well as the FMCO in Malaysia, the Board of Directors of EFFICIENT wishes to announce that the 18th AGM of the Company will be postponed to a later date to be determined and announced in due course.

Accordingly, the Company would be submitting an application to Companies Commission of Malaysia for extension of time to hold its 18th AGM latest by 28 September 2021 pursuant to Section 340(4) of the Companies Act 2016.
