We refer to our earlier announcement made on 7 May 2021 in relation to the Notice of the Fifty-First (51st) Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of Hil Industries Berhad (“the Company”).

On 28 May 2021, the Prime Minister’s Office announced the implementation of a full lockdown in Malaysia from 1 June 2021 to 14 June 2021 and extended to 28 June 2021 to curb the sharp increase in Covid-19 infections.

Having regard to the well-being and safety of our shareholders as well as part of the safety measures to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Board of Directors (“the Board”) of the Company wishes to inform that the 51st AGM of the Company which was originally scheduled to be held at Bukit Kemuning Golf & Country Resort, Lot 6031, Batu 7, Bukit Kemuning, 42450 Shah Alam, Selangor Darul Ehsan on Thursday, 24 June 2021 at 11.00 a.m., is postponed to a date to be announced.

The Company has already applied for Extension Of Time to hold the 51st AGM.

Any inconvenience due to this postponement is very much regretted but the Board regards the well-being and safety of our shareholders to be a priority.
