We refer to the announcement dated 14 November 2019.
The Company wishes to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Commercial Marketers and Distributors Sdn. Bhd. has decided to withdraw the judicial review filed against the Ministry of Health (“MOH”) at the Kuala Lumpur High Court (“JR Application”) following a mutual settlement with the MOH.
There is no material financial impact to the Company and its subsidiaries (“BAT Malaysia Group”) arising from the withdrawal of the JR Application. There is no liability imposed on the BAT Malaysia Group arising from the withdrawal of the JR Application.
