| Working experience and occupation | Miss Tan began her career as an Audit Assistant with KPMG Peat Marwick (now known as KPMG) in 1992. She joined Malaysia International Merchant Bankers Berhad (which was taken over by Eon Bank Berhad and subsequently by Hong Leong Bank Berhad) in 1996 as an Executive in Corporate Finance and left in 2002 as a Manager. She joined AmInvestment Bank Berhad as a Manager, Corporate Finance in 2002 and left in 2017 as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance to join Pen Petroleum Sdn Bhd as Group Senior Finance Manager. She joined Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance in 2018 and left in 2021 to join Texchem Resources Bhd group of companies. She has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate finance and advisory, debt capital market, accounting and finance, and financial consultancy and services. She was actively involved in initial public offerings, capital and fund raising exercises, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, privatisation, take-overs, valuation of companies and project financing. |
