DPIH - Notice of Bonus Entitlement

Bonus issue of 243,365,500 new ordinary shares in DPI Holdings Berhad ("DPI") ("DPI Shares" or "Shares") ("Bonus Shares") on the basis of 1 Bonus Share for every 2 existing DPI Shares held as at 5:00 p.m. on 9 August 2021 ("Entitlement Date")
 

Kindly be advised of the following :

1)    The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[Ex-Bonus Issue]” as from: 6 Aug 2021
2)    The last date of lodgment : 9 Aug 2021
3)    Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
        a)    Selling Broker to deduct <1/3>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
        b)    Buying Broker to deduct <33.33%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
        c)    Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/3>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.

Remarks 1 :

"Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after 9 August 2021 with bonus issue of DPIH shares, any shareholder who is entitled to receive DPIH bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his DPIH shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (6 August 2021).
 
For example, if Mr X purchases 200 DPIH shares on cum basis on 5 August 2021, Mr X should receive 200 shares on 9 August 2021. As a result of the bonus issue, an additional of 100 DPIH shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 9 August 2021 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell a total of 300 shares on or after the Ex-Date ie from 6 August 2021 onwards."

Remarks 2 :
The Bonus Shares will be listed and quoted on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities") on 11 August 2021, being the next market day after the Entitlement Date.

The Share Registrar of DPI will issue and despatch the notices of allotment of the Bonus Shares to all entitled shareholders of DPI not later than 4 market days after the date of the listing and quotation for the Bonus Shares on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities.
