The Board of Directors of RMH (“Board”) wishes to announce that APSN Healthcare & Diagnostics Sdn Bhd (“APSN Healthcare”), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of RMH, had on 28 July 2021, entered into a distributorship agreement with Citest Diagnostics Inc. (“Citest”) for the appointment as the exclusive distributor of Citest in relation to the distribution of its COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit (“Agreement”).

Citest is an in vitro diagnostic company incorporated in Canada. Its products include various types of test kits in relation to women health, infectious disease, drug of abuse, oncology and cardiac marker.

The Agreement which is effective from 28 July 2021 allows APSN Healthcare to distribute Citest’s test kit in Malaysia, subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. Annual renewal of the Agreement is subject to written agreement between the parties.

For information purposes, the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kit to be distributed by APSN Healthcare has obtained Recommended to be Used status from the Medical Device Authority, Ministry of Health Malaysia.

The Agreement will not have any effect on the issued share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of the Company but is expected to contribute positively towards the Group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the Directors or substantial shareholders of RMH or person connected with them have any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the aforesaid Agreement.

The Board is of the opinion that the Agreement is in the best interest of RMH.
