Bumi Armada Berhad (“BAB”) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned indirect subsidiary, Bumi Armada Do Brasil Servicos Maritimos LTDA (“BADBSM”), was dissolved on 22 July 2021 upon the Board of Trade’s approval obtained on 28 July 2021 on the registration of the Minutes of Quotaholders’ Meeting.

BADBSM was incorporated on 7 May 2011 in Brazil. The issued capital of BADBSM was R$12,382,409.00 comprising shares of R$1.00 each.

BADBSM was principally involved in providing support services for the offshore operations of the industry of exploration, development and production of oil, natural gas and other hydrocarbons.

BADBSM has been inactive since 2019. The dissolution of BADBSM is in line with BAB Group’s streamlining exercise and is not expected to have any material impact on the earnings or net assets of BAB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the Directors or Major Shareholders of BAB or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the dissolution of BADBSM.
