Pursuant to Paragraph 10.06 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of MCB wishes to announce that the Company has on 20 August 2021 entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement (“SPA”) with Dimensi Mutiara Sdn Bhd to dispose a piece of agricultural land held under PN 22155, LOT 22508, Mukim Ulu Lepar, District of Kuantan, State of Pahang, measuring approximately 650.4 hectares free of all encumbrances, squatters, occupants, licensees or trespassers with vacant possession and on an “as-is-where-is” basis, for a total cash consideration of RM18,560,000, subjected to the terms and conditions as stipulated in the SPA (“the Proposed Disposal”).
