Reference is made to the earlier announcement made by the Company on 23 August 2021 in relation to the approval from the Companies Commission of Malaysia on the extension of time for the Company to convene its 17th AGM on or before 31 December 2021 in accordance to Section 340(4) of the Companies Act 2016.

The Company has placed the health and safety of the Company’s employees and shareholders who will attend the 17th AGM as the top priority of the Company. In consideration of the safety and well-being of the employees and shareholders of the Company as well as to adhere to the directives issued by the regulatory authority on the conduct of the general meeting of listed issuer, the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) hereby announce that the Company will first issue the Annual Report 2021 to the shareholders without the notice of 17th AGM as the date of the 17th AGM has yet to be determined for the time being.

The Board also wishes to inform its shareholders that the Company’s Annual Report 2021 and Corporate Governance Report 2021are now available on Bursa Securities' website and the Company's website at https://www.yglworld.com/.

In the meantime, the Company will monitor the development of the COVID-19 pandemic and subject to further directives from the relevant authorities, the Company will issue the notice of the forthcoming 17th AGM of the Company to the shareholders once the date of the AGM has been decided.
