The Board of Directors of Ornapaper Berhad (“ORNA”) would like to announce that Ornapaper Industry (M) Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, had several employees tested positive with Covid-19.

Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia ("KKM") had issued official notice on 27 August 2021 to the Management of our plant located at No. 8998, Kawasan Perindustrian Peringkat IV, Batu Berendam, 75350 Melaka to close the factory production area for the period from 27 August 2021 to 10 September 2021 for sanitization purposes. Other divisions and plants of the Company are not affected. The Management of ORNA wishes to affirm that the health and safety of our employees and stakeholders is our highest priority and we will remain vigilant and work with KKM to take the necessary protective measures.

The Company will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates on the matter where applicable.
