The Board of Directors (“the Board”) of CME wishes to announce that the Federal Court upon hearing submissions from the parties on 27.01.2021, the Court has on today allowed the Company’s appeal in part. The Federal Court held that the tenancy agreement is illegal but declined to order restitution of the rental of the sum of RM8,401,756.85 as at 27 December 2013 already paid with no order as to cost.
