The Board of Directors ("the Board") of Hup Seng Industries Berhad (“HSIB”) wishes to inform that further to the two (2) announcements made on 17 September 2021 and 20 September 2021 respectively, Hup Seng Perusahaan Makanan (M) Sdn Bhd (“HSPM”) being one (1) of the wholly owned subsidiaries located in Kawasan Perindustrian Tongkang Pecah, 83010 Batu Pahat, Johor Darul Ta’zim had on 30 September 2021 received a notice from the Ministry of Health (“MOH”) to resume its operations commencing on 1 October 2021. Thorough disinfection work for the entire premises of HSPM was completed on 28 September 2021.

The health and safety of all the employees have always been the top priority of HSIB. In that respect, HSIB and its subsidiaries will continue to adhere to the COVID-19 Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”) strictly.
