SC Estate Builder Berhad ("SCBUILD/0109" or "the Company") - Memorandum of Understanding entered into between three (3) individuals and the Company in relation to the proposed acquisition of land held under Title No. H.S. (D) 17714, Lot No. PT5, Mukim Sg Laka, District of Kubang Pasu, in the state of Kedah Darul Aman ("MOU")
Query Letter Contents

We refer to your Company’s announcement dated 5 October 2021, in respect of the aforesaid matter.
In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release:-

1) The following information in relation to the Land:

  • existing use of the Land;
  • terms of the tenure and if leasehold, the expiry date of the lease;
  • whether any valuation has been carried out on the Land; if so, the name of the independent registered valuer, date and method of valuation and quantification of the market value; and
  • encumbrances, if any.

2) The estimated cost and source(s) of funding to finance the proposed construction of the 100 Megawatt (MW) solar power plant and/or to implement the Environment, Social and Governance initiative projects (“ESG Projects”), and the breakdown thereof or a negative statement.
3) The type of ESG Projects to be carried out on the Land.
4) The relevant regulatory approvals, permits and/or licenses required to be obtained by SCBuild for the construction/operation of the solar power plant and implementation of the ESG Projects.

Please furnish Bursa Securities with your reply within one (1) market day from the date hereof.
