Working experience and occupation

Mr Chong started his career as an Auditor with Messrs Tan Peng Sam & Co in 1988 and joined M & A Capital Corporation Sdn Bhd in 1990 as an Assistant Accountant. He was seconded to M & A Securities Sdn Bhd in 1991 as the Corporate and Finance Manager. 

In 1994, he moved to Taraf Dimensi (M) Group of Companies as the Financial Controller and joined Transocean Holdings Bhd in 1999 as the Group Financial Controller and was subsequently appointed to the Board of Transocean Holdings Bhd as the Finance Director in 2004. 

Mr Chong then left, and join Batu Kawan Berhad in 2007 as the Group Financial Controller and Company Secretary.
