On behalf of the Board of Directors of CHB ("Board"), UOB Kay Hian Securities (M) Sdn Bhd ("UOBKH") wishes to announce that the Company proposes to undertake a proposed private placement of up to 20% of the total number of issued shares of CHB to third party investor(s) to be identified later at an issue price to be determined and announced later ("Proposed Private Placement").

For the avoidance of doubt, the Proposed Private Placement is not undertaken in accordance with the general mandate pursuant to Section 75 and 76 of the Companies Act, 2016 but that the Proposed Private Placement is subject to, amongst others, the specific approval to be approved by the shareholders of CHB in an Extraordinary General Meeting of CHB to be convened.
